In January

12-@6pm Teddy Bear Sleepover PartyMake a blanket for your Teddy and tuck him in for the night. Come back the next day to pick him up and see pictures of what he did during his sleepover party. Take home your very own Teddy Bear Scrapbook.

4,11,18,25-@3:30 Animal Story time- Here stories and rhymes, songs and finger plays. Come and see a llama, an alpaca, horses, rabbits, goats, donkeys. All kinds of animals visit the library. All ages welcome.

19-@ 3:30 Chinese New Year Lutz Children’s Museum will be here to celebrate the year of the Dragon.

21-@ 1pm- Super Hero Day- Come dressed as you favorite super hero and watch a super hero movie.

February

1,8,15,22,29-@3:30 Animal Story time

4-@11 am & 1 pm - Take Your Child to the Library Day- Spend a fun filled day at the library. Start the day with a Teddy Bear tea party with teddy bear sandwiches adn cookies. At 1 pm watch the Cars 2 movie and make your very own car to bring home. 

13 @ 3:30pm Valentine’s Day Card Workshop-Make beautiful cards for that special person.

16-@6 pm Gingerbread Man Celeration- Decorate a ginger bread man to take home and one to eat while listening to gingerbread stories by Jan Brett.

March

1- @ 6 pm Dr. Seuss’ B’day-Come and have a fun time making a Dr. Seuss craft and hearing your favorite Dr. Seuss story.

7,14,21,28-@3:30 Animal Story time

15-@5 pm Reading Night-Come in your PJ’s and learn how to make delicious Mac and Cheese while you listen to stories!

17- 1-2pm.Come join the fun in our St. Patrick’s day celebration. Find a lucky piece of leprechaun gold, make a magical necklace and bring a leprechaun home.

April

 4,11,18,25-@3:30 Animal Story time

7-@ 1pm-Easter Egg Hunt and Craft- Find what the Easter Bunny left at the library just for you.

19-@1pm- Farm Day Plant a Seed and learn about Stafford Farms Come meet local farmers and the products they sell. Meet mini donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, horses, llama’s and alpaca’s and make new friends.

 20-@ 1pm -Earth Day with Ella. Learn new ways to be green in Stafford Springs. Help make your home safer, help make the town more self sufficient, improve your health and make the world a better place.

7-@6pm-PJ Story Time- Mother’s Day activity

 5-@2pm- Lutz Cinco de Mayo- Learn about this Mexican holiday as the Lutz brings us articles fromMexico and teaches us how they celebrate this holiday.

 12-@2 pm- American Girl Tea-. Come hear a story about one of the early American girl dolls lives by renowned story teller Joyce Marie Rayno. You will drink assorted flavored teas and eat delicious tea sandwiches and deserts. It is a wonderful way to celebrate Mother’s Day.
